Lorraine Gregory CEO Named to

L.I. Community Foundation Board


Gregory P. Demetriou, CEO of the Lorraine Gregory Communications Group, has been appointed to the Long Island Community Foundation (LICF) Board of Advisors. A division of The New York Community Trust, LICF identifies community needs and awards grants to improve the Long Island area.


"Greg is one of our region's most respected and accomplished business leaders," said LICF Executive Director David Okorn. "His commitment to the well-being of Long Island communities is exceptional and a perfect asset to our Foundation."


Over more than two decades, Greg and his wife, Lorraine, have expanded their business from a direct mail company into a respected comprehensive marketing communications enterprise that serves a wide range of businesses and organization throughout the region.


In addition to direct mail services, the company now offers printing, an online envelope store, promotional items and a wide range of online marketing services.


While growing the business, Greg found the time to work with numerous non-profit organizations, such as the Association of Fund Raising Professionals Long Island Chapter, which honored him as the 2008 Outstanding Fund Raising Volunteer of the Year. He is also a member of the Business Advisory Committee of AHRC Suffolk and has volunteered for numerous other organizations, including the Bethpage Rotary Club and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
